Konyoshi Company Limited has its roots in an indigo dyeing wholesaler founded in the Bunku era (1868-1912). In 2022, Konyoshi started a video production business spun by technology.

Once upon a time, indigo dyeing was all the rage in Japan, and towns and villages were filled with navy blue. The great Meiji-era writer Lafcadio Hearn, who saw this scene, said, “The flags in front of stores, the curtains at entrances, and people passing by, are all blue”.

In the era of Reiwa, the streets are filled with images. Even smartphones are constantly streaming images. Konyoshi has also shifted from navy blue to images. We are stepping into a new field and taking charge of the times.

“Although blue dye comes from the indigo plant, it is bluer than indigo”

The origin of this phrase is "If you keep learning, one day you will blossom." And, it is also used to mean "If you keep learning, one day you will surpass your teacher.

Konyoshi is staffed with members who continue to learn about technology. By learning, creating, and continuing to use techniques and tools that are not yet mainstream, we believe that one day they will flourish and surpass current production methods. We will continue to produce works that will reach everyone's hearts with new visual expressions.
